For amfAR The Foundation for AIDS Research’s Cinema Against Aids 21 gala in Cannes tomorrow evening, Bulgari has donated an exquisite Serpenti necklace to benefit the cause. The Italian ‘serpenti’ has long been an icon of the brand and this mythical symbol of eternity and prosperity regained prominence when Elizabeth Taylor – the glamorous co-founder of amfAR and star of 1963 film Cleopatra – commissioned Bulgari to create a collection that she could wear on- and off-screen.
